Excellent and well researched. Enormous amount of information. Very clearly written and extensively researched. A seminal report!
Concerns:
It is extensive and lengthy—while it is called a report, it is a full six chapters. Additionally, it is more than 15 years old so there is a lot of research that has been completed since the report’s publication.
Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Well written report with summary introductory chapter and concluding chapter that bring much of the research together. Methodology and conclusions are strong. Thorough look at youth violence.
Concerns:
It is lengthy and requires a serious commitment to read in its entirety so it may have to be used over several weeks. Since it is over 15 years old, it may be of limited use.

The report is in standard HTML text and is not particularly reader friendly. It does include important and informative diagrams but they must be opened in a separate window taking away from their impact.
