Overview:: This site contains a number of short stories and analogies that can be used in either a training session or in the classroom. In addition to the story, the point of the story is explained or the context in which to use it is suggested.

Recommended Uses:: • This site has a tremendous number of potential uses because it can work for many different situations including in class, homework, individual, team, and personal information. • This material is best used in lectures, presentations, icebreakers, etc.

Target Student Population:: • The user needs to review the site and determine what is appropriate for age groups because this reference material includes many different possibilities. • No recommendation can be made for a specific age group because of the wide variety of material. • Because of a large number of links, only a few were reviewed for the purposes of this evaluation. However, some of the material can be appropriate in upper-level high school, lower and upper-level undergraduate, and in organizations for icebreakers, learning activities and personal development.
Prerequisite Knowledge or Skills:: The user needs to know how to use a browser, how to select live links and how to print from a browser screen if the user wishes to print any of the material.

Strengths:: • The wide variety of material that is available is the most outstanding feature of this site. • There is easy access through the links. • It is helpful to have a single source for this type of material.
Concerns:: • Because of the wide variety of live links and available material, it is difficult to recommend what individual users might need or what is appropriate. This needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis. • There are possible copyright issues. Some of this material references outside sources and no clear ownership appears present.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Strengths:: • The selection and use of the material depend on the user, but the material can be very effective and beneficial. • One of the benefits of this site is that there is so much to explore; the users need to take time to find what can be used effectively.
Concerns:: • Again, with such a wide variety of items available it is not possible to make specific recommendations.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Strengths:: • The selection and variety of the material is the strength of this site • The usability and access make this material very easy to explore and use.
Concerns:: • There are no problems with the usability per se if the user can access the live links. • Users need to determine for themselves what is appropriate for the situation, the desired goal, and the desired knowledge. • Some of the material is downloadable and appears to be scans converted to PDF (possible duplication quality issues).

Other Issues and Comments:: There are many potential uses for the information available on this site to include but not be limited to organizational training, personal development, support for high school, undergraduate and graduate studies.
