Values test is a great starting point to help individuals align with identified or outcome values. Great learning material to self-reflect and develop plan of action to either maintain or develop areas to position oneself with career values
There is a lack of explanation on the reliability or the validity of the instrument (or I did not find this). The outcomes from the value test do not share ideas for follow up actionable steps, rather suggests contacting the company. Based on career value outcome- recommendations should immediately be shared with option to further the interaction with the company.
Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
The careers value test sheds insight to key values that one relates to career development. The test outcomes may help individuals to build on values and application through development.
The test is very basic and easy to read. The question are clear and easy to answer. The tool itself serves the purpose.
The test outcomes do not clearly depict relationships between perceived values and value outcomes reflecting questions asked. Does not provide insight to possible development steps based on outcomes.
Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
This was easy to use; tabs to connect are a nice feature. It is also well written and overall has great information presented.
Lacks explanation of outcomes for individuals to connect and develop; beyond contacting the organization for further planning.
