Content Quality
Rating:
Strengths:
The site has great potential-there are sections on practices for employee engagement, leadership, self-development, and supporting others.
The blog and the introduction are a great overview for anyone trying to think about " ice breakers" in facilitating various sessions-not just the ones for high level leaders.
Concerns:
Some of the links are are dated. The site should be overhauled-a lot of material and colors. None are consitent, the font is hard to read, some of the videos are not loading well.
It's a site with huge potential-it must be revised and cleaned up.
There are a lot of video links but a dearth of other resources.
Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
Rating:
Strengths:
Good resources and examples; authentic introduction from the author (warm welcome).
The site is divided into sections and there is an emphasis on the key points (engagement, leadership concepts).
It is possible to include either sections or links from this class (or, perhaps, an example from the author's blog), in a leadership class.
This resource has huge potential. It's a good start with some lighthearted videos and examples of use in coaching, leadership development, and employee engagement strategies.
Concerns:
The site is hard to navigate because of all the font colors, shades, and a somewhat loose structure.
The "quandrants" aka sections with the information are good, however, they still do not give an overall stability to this resource.
There must be more articles and sample assignments or reflection possibilities?
There are no discussions about engaging more introverted employees.
Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
Rating:
Strengths:
The site is divided into table cells or "quandrants."
That's a plus because there are different examples of resources/links in each section.
Concerns:
Please revise the site. It needs to be more up to date and user friendly. Right now, because of all the different shades and fonts, it's hard to use.
This resource has such high potential for use, however, it needs serious revisions.
*Please add more resources
*Please pull some of them from the blog and add more up to date materials
*Please re-structure the site for easier reading (fonts, shading).
