Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
Rating:
Strengths:
The NAEA website is systematically organized and easy to navigate. The layout is clear with main links and tabs found at the top of every page. Contact links, social media links, and quick links are found at the bottom of every page. There is a search feature for the entire NAEA site found on the top right corner. The site has a built-in collaboration tool, Collaborate, that allows art educators to reach out to other members, pose questions, receive answers, and share key information. The website is attractive (actually inspiring) since it features actual examples of art education work.
Concerns:
Those who have minimal technology skills may need additional time in moving through all of the resources and finding what they want. However, tabs and search buttons help organize and support the movement throughout the website.
