This webinar was presented by the American Nurses Association (ANA) in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Two speakers presented on various aspects of COVID-19, including morbidity, mortality, comparison to other respiratory outbreaks, mode of transmission, review of PPE and reuse of supplies, masks for the public (which is now outdated according to CDC guidelines). Additionally, resources are shared at the ANA website, such as support for staffing, advocacy, information on infection control, links to local and state health departments, travel guidelines, and more.

The webinar was clear, succinct. Due to the nature of the novel coronavirus, there had been a lot of misinformtion, and the speaker addressed these issues well. Some examples included reuse of PPE and mode of transmission.
Concerns:
Educators need to be aware some content is outdated. For example, the speaker suggested the public not wear masks. Current CDC guidelines now suggest social distancing and mask use. Educators need to be aware some content is outdated.

It does require a login in which the user has to provide personal contact information. This may violate privacy policies at some higher education institutions when students are required to provide their private information to watch the webinar.
It does not meet accessibility requirements if able to assess.
It needs to provide a caption and transcript as downloaded PDFs for people with disabilities.
Other Issues and Comments:
The presenter identifies some data may be outdated as health officials' were still learning about how to treat and control COVID -19.
The ANA has created many webinars on topics related to COVID -19, so more up to date information has been shared. This was one of their first webinars since the pandemic began.
