This is an assessment tool in Excel from the Project Management Institute to assist project managers with project management, project scheduling, project planning, and change management.

This assessment tool is available to download on the internet (the cost is free). The date that this review was completed was 3.13.2023.

Recommended Uses:

Faculty and students would use this to introduce the topics of project management, project scheduling, project planning, and change management., and discussion for use in class, homework, individual group assignments, lectures.

The material can be used by Project managers when embarking on a change management project.

Technical Requirements:

There are differences if you use Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Chrome.

You may not always see the template if using Safari; it is recommended to use Chrome.

Chrome 103 on Windows 10 used in this review.

This assessment tool is designed to organize project managers in the topics of project management, project scheduling, project planning, and change management.

The site provides a template in pic format. Although the site states that the template can be downloaded, it cannot be downloaded in all browsers.

Users will only see a picture of what the template looks like.

There is content describing the template, although it could use a more professional tone to better explain it to PMP (or other) users

Target Student Population:

Recommended for undergraduate upper level students, business students, workplace discussion of profit sharing, worker ownership, management, wealth inequality, corporate social responsibility, employee ownership, equity sharing, stock shares, and cooperatives among graduate level business students.

The material can be used by students for course projects as well as Professionals already in project management positions.

Basic project management knowledge is needed to understand the content and uses of this template, and basic Excel and computer skills.

• The corresponding article/blog includes key terms and background.

• The author(s) explain very well how each aspect used learning can be impacted.

• A summary of the content as well as several additional resources are provided to reinforce learning outcomes.

• The resources are downloadable.

• The excel resource as well as the blog/article

Concerns:

Only some of the resources are downloadable depending on the browser used.

Lack of a professional tone. Users may not take this site or template as a valid tool for project management work.
