Overview:

The paper evaluating the ways in which the firm Gillette got its employees to take on the new TQM system. It discuss the importance of getting the teams involved in TQM process.  The case describes the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) at Gillette Argentina in response to changing market conditions and the need for competitive advantages. The case study discusses the challenges faced by the company and how key figures such as Carlos Rotundo and Jorge Micozzi proposed and implemented TQM to improve quality and organizational culture.

Concerns:

The case mentions the success of Gillette's TQM system but lacks specific examples or quantitative data to support the claimed economic benefits. Including specific metrics, such as the percentage improvement in customer satisfaction or the exact impact on sales and profits, would strengthen the case.

The case focuses primarily on the positive aspects of TQM implementation at Gillette Argentina. It would be beneficial to include any challenges faced during the process, as well as how the company addressed or overcame them. This would provide a more comprehensive view of the implementation. While the case discusses the measures taken to prepare employees for TQM, it lacks insights into the perspectives of employees during and after the implementation.   • The study mentions the success of TQM but does not provide a clear timeline of the implementation process. Including information on how long it took for the company to fully adopt TQM and see tangible results would give readers a better understanding of the time frame involved.
