Content Quality
Rating:
Strengths:
The course guides users into creating their own digital portfolio addressing the creative common format.
Interestingly, this course is built on the author's newly developed model for teaching and learning, however, their model is based upon valid concepts. CLEAR although a new theory, is very well explained to begin this course and teachers will recognize the model is based on accepted educational concepts.
Understanding creative commons licensing is essential for creating and using OER so this course is something anyone who uses OER should learn. The author provides the learner with opportunities to see what they already know, practice learning and produce a final portfolio to demonstrate their knowledge.
Concerns:
The CLEAR model has not been peer reviewed, however, interest has increased in this coaching model.
