The material may be used in school for dental, dental hygiene, or dental assisting students and even after completing credentials during chairside patient care.

Concerns:

Some language may not be transferable in other contexts; for example, 'dollop' is used as a measurement term.
Video links were not accessible. Consider incorporating a page at the start of the book that includes all the video links and tells the poster which video each link connects to.

Did include various forms of diverse representation, but consider enhancing the representation of all people.
No learning objectives, prerequisite knowledge, unable to use for curriculum assignments, and unable to measure student outcomes. Consider incorporating these elements to enhance its usefulness as teaching material.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Portfolio of informative posters with a content bar as an easy-to-use drop-down of topic options.
Includes a wide variety of visuals, some very appealing and easy to use. Able to zoom in on posters.

Concerns:

The video demonstration links did not work.
The font on some pages is too small.
There is a wide variety of visuals from different creators with different styles, including some with color combinations that make it difficult for the user to read. Avoid red and green for content.
The images included alt text, but because they were so complex and detailed, it was not sufficient for a person with visual concerns. Consider including an additional text page after each poster page that includes the details of the image for screen readers.
Include some basic instructions at the start of the book.

Other Issues and Comments:

The OER textbook of graduating student posters is a fabulous idea!
