Like many other online calculators, this integral calculator can handle most integrals and has a helpful list of math symbols that the user can easily find.  The solution is clearly shown.

Under “steps” it just states “step-by-step feature is currently in beta”, so the steps are not shown.  Although it correctly integrates most functions, it is not coded to detect discontinuous functions.  For example, it solves the integral of 1/x from -1 to 1 as -ln(-1) instead of stating the integral is not defined over that region. It also gives the integral of xsin(x) as x^2 x sin/2 +C, since it requires the multiplication symbol, but has no instructions about that. As a result it has a limited depth for the learners.

This calculator could be used for a calculus class to have students check their work and see the solution of integrals that occur in the class. A quick in-class demonstration is also an option. 

Since it just gives the answer without explaining how the integral was solved, it would not work well for showing students how to solve an integral problem.

This tool is easy to use and follow with helpful Calculator Pad. Also, the calculator has an example given that will help first time students see what they need to do.  The symbol keypad is also clearly presented.
