Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
Rating:
Strengths:
It is easy to understand with visual aids and comprehends many aspects of the subject. Stands alone so excellent for self learning, it?s stated purpose is to supplement the classroom and for continuing education (presumably distance) The multilevel structure is well done.
Concerns:
none
Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
Rating:
Strengths:
Navigation hints are provided at levels above this entry point but it is fairly intuitive to move about for such a huge site. Graphics are clear and clean. The applets animate concepts well. Each screen lasts only about 1 ? pages ? minimum scrolling before leaving. Basically for outside the class room learning the graphics could be brought into class. There is a good amount of interactivity but good guidance through the concepts.
Concerns:
none
