The Linguist List, which is hosted at Eastern Michigan University and at Wayne State University, is an interactive website run by linguistics professors and graduate students. The site provides searches for everything from anthropological linguistics to writing systems. Its publications area links to thousands of book, dissertation, review, academic journal and publisher entries. Its language resources area provides links to 250 dictionaries in different languages, acronym dictionaries, thesauri, and dictionaries of special terms. It has an extensive text and computer tools area, as well as an extensive teaching and learning area, including links to hundreds of EFL and foreign language learning sites. Its also provides an ask the linguist capability, and a recipe book with recipes from linguists all over the world!
