Individuals can learn important concepts within the field of IT, and information about topics such as data security, risk management, and outsourcing. It provides news, how-tos, deep technical information, and industry reporting. It is aimed at chief information officers and other mid- to high-level computer executives. It will work best for those with at least a bachelors degree in computer science or information systems, though students in those disciplines would be interested in this material, as would business students (some material). .
Type of Material:
Articles written at a high level of lay expertise. The materials are based on journalistic research, but are not scientific by academic standards. Therefore, instructors should take care in how the materials are presented to students. The site does contain a series of white papers that present more detailed information on technical topics.

The presentation and design is, however, useful for acquainting students with industry information and publications and for raising issues of concern in the profession.

IA lay publication not suitable for generalization, especially in theory courses. Instructors should be careful to direct students to additional research so they build a more complete and well-rounded picture of India and the climate of business.
