The article section has numerous articles on how to deal with customs in countries around the globe. The article range from greeting, dining etiquette, dressing for success and how to do business in various countries. The ‘Doing Business in’ articles are excerpts from the book.

Identify Major Learning Goals:: The purpose of this site is to provide Business students and corporate executives with a perspective of the various countries with respect to doing business. The information provided in the various articles are to understand business etiquettes when doing business globally. The articles provide an understanding of cultural contexts and offers insights into doing business in the different countries.
Target Student Population:: Students studying international business or planning international study trips or semesters abroad.
Prerequisite Knowledge or Skills:: A little geography knowledge will help in better appreciating the various countries with respect to their location. Basic browsing skills.

Strengths:: This module is a collection of articles that provide clear and concise information on business etiquettes when travelling on business in various countries. The articles discuss in detail the protocols, gestures, dress, gifting and business entertaining in various countries. The quiz section has numerous quizzes that test one’s cultural IQ. Also included is a world holiday guide with listing of holidays for each country, time zone maps and time difference tables.
Concerns:: Requires subscription for full access to information.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Strengths:: This module provides numerous articles on how to do business effectively in various countries by following the required etiquette and mannerisms. The articles can easily be used to write assignments and are very effective as they are concise and provide necessary guidelines to make one an informed business traveler.
Concerns:: Requires subscription service.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Strengths:: It is easy to use and is well structured to provide essential information to the business traveler. The articles are in text format and provide detailed information. There are no illustrations in the articles. If an extended license is purchased then illustrations with flags, maps are available for each country
Concerns:: The requirement of a paid subscription service will limit the ease of use to students from institutions that have subscribed.
