Overview:

Deaf Planet is a website in American Sign Language (ASL) and French Sign Language (LSQ). At the core are adventures between two characters, one with hearing and one deaf. Included are games, videos, and experiments. It also includes a link to Deaf TV with shows in ASL and LSQ.

Any device with Internet access and audio device if user wishes to hear audio portions.

Science lessons aimed at the 4th -7th grade levels. These are set up according to Canadian standards and are easily applicable to those in the US. It is easy to use for interactive lesson supplements. The material is well written; videos are good quality. This site is engaging for the target audience and adults.

User has the ability to turn finger spelling (and sound) on or off. New material is available weekly.Items are available 24/7 by students, teachers, and parents with internet access. The site is intuitive, appealing and accessible. It is designed for the deaf and non-hearing-impaired alike.

TV show episodes also depict interactions with others. There are many real-world applications within the lessons.
