This is an IPad application, not a web site, per se. It requires the user to download iTunes before proceeding further. It is based on The Economist's annual World in Figures book.

Economics and world history classes, global studies classes, economic global forecasting. This would be a good, quick "at your fingertips" database for of raw facts and figures.
An IPad is not required, but it's difficult to use this application without one. An IPad or IPhone is the preferred hardware platform. Per The Economist's web site and the app description, IOS8 is preferred operating system.

This application is intended primarily for Apples/Mac products. Although much of the younger US population uses IPhones and IPads, the majority of the US population relies on PC platforms.
Recommend a PC version.
Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
The ability to have that level of detailed data at one's fingertips is incredibly use
usefulness of this IPad application precludes PC utilization.
