OHSL Resource and Training ePortfolio
This course explores the intersection of open-source biomedical informatics, collaborative global research, and open health systems. Designed for health science and informatics trainees, the curriculum examines how distributed team science, public health data modeling, and shared digital tools accelerate global health innovations. Learners explore real-world OHSL framework applications, data interoperability standards, and public-private health partnerships.
Prerequisites
- Academic Background: Introductory Coursework in Public Health, Health Informatics, Biomedical Sciences, or Computer Science.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Python, or Excel) and familiarity with web-based research repositories.
- Core Competencies: Foundational understanding of health systems, basic bio-statistics, and working knowledge of digital literacy tools.
