This is a great site for students to explore environmental health hazards in different types of neighborhoods. It challenges students to think about their everyday environment and to consider their potential exposure to hazardous substances. The graphics are engaging and the site provides a great level of detail about environmental contaminants.

This is a good resource to use to teach students the importance of a pollutant free environment. The site shows an animation of a city and where the various sources of pollution are coming from. It is easy to handle and provides additional information when clicking on a certain object. For example, if you click on a car, the site will tell you how cars pollute the atmosphere around us. I also think that this lesson will be fun and keep all the students engaged.
