    Having lived in Nicaragua for 2-years and traveled thorugh out Central America, I became very familiar with cultural aspects of those areas. It is interesting to see Latin American culture redefined as those that have come to the States seek to maintain traditions that are so embedded in the cultures of Latin America.

    I have studied Spanish through different venues for many years. From the traditional classroom of the early 80's, to immersion in the language, I have seen advantages in different methods that have blended together to give me a strong Spanish base.
