    Amit Schitai, an award winning instructional designer, is a director of two California Community College Chancellor?s office grants entitled System Approach for Learning with Technology. He is in charge of the Instructional Technology Development Center, as well as coordinate distance education efforts at Long Beach City College, School of Learning Resources, Teaching and Technologies. Amit has facilitated many workshops and forums in various universities including University of Michigan, Brandies University, UCLA extension, Long Beach City College and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Additionally, Amit presented in various conferences in the US including the League for Innovation in the Community Colleges, California Virtual Campus, and EDUCOM. Most of the presentations focused on using multimedia / Web for learning and teaching.
