Students will engage in reflective practices and gain an understanding of the importance of responding to the child that leads to a level of increased competence.

- This course involves the critical study and application of language development theory and philosophies for children from birth to 8 years of age. Student will explore the foundations of emergent literacy in relation to speaking and listening.
