  • Personal/ Student Design Success (07/2012)
    My design team at UAB won 2nd place in a challenge to design a piece of multi-sensory equipment. The woman that hosted the contest requested to build and install our design at a new park for severely disabled children that is currently being built.
  • Treasurer of the UAB chapter of Pi Tau Sigma (05/2012)
    I was invited to join the Pi Tau Sigma chapter for the top 25% of UAB's engineering students (based on GPA). Although I did not run for this office, the chapter's officers voted unanimously to make me the treasurer.
