Lesson Title: Algae
Objectives: 1. Students will know some effects the environment has on
algae/plants.
2. Students will create a readable document.
3. Students will revise documents for the better.
4. Students will effectively use the Internet.
CDE Science: Life Sciences 2e: Students know light, gravity, touch, or
environmental stress can effect the germination, growth, and development of
plants. Investigation and Experimentation 4a: Make predictions based on observed
patterns and not random guessing. 4d: Write or draw descriptions of a sequence
of steps, events, and observations. 4g: Follow oral instructions for a
scientific investigation.
CDE Language Arts: Writing 1.2: Create readable documents with legible
handwriting. 1.4: Revise original drafts to improve sequence and provide more
descriptive detail.
NETS: #7: Practice responsible use of technology systems and software.
