Lesson Title: Water Vapor

Objectives: 1. Students will be able to read Internet print.
2. Students will read aloud with fluency.
3. Students will navigate a NASA website.
4. Students will review concepts of changing weather.

CDE Science: Earth Sciences 3b: Students know that the weather changes from day
to day but that trends in temperature or of rain (or snow) tend to be
predictable during a season.

CDE Language Arts: 1.0: Word Analysis, Fluency, and Systematic Vocabulary
Development
Students understand the basic features of reading. They select letter patterns
and know how to translate them into spoken language by using phonics,
syllabication, and word parts. They apply this knowledge to achieve fluent oral
and silent reading. Concepts About Print: 1.1: Match oral words to printed
words. 1.2: Identify the title and author of a reading selection. 1.3:
Identify letters, words, and sentences.

NETS: #1: Use input devices (e.g., mouse, keyboard, remote control) and output
devices (e.g., monitor, printer) to successfully operate computers, VCRs,
audiotapes, and other technologies. #2: Use a variety of media and technology
resources for directed and independent learning activities.
