Topics in Clinical Hematology for Clinical Laboratory and Medical Laboratory Scientists
Prerequisites
College level Biology I and Biology II or,
Enrollment in a Clinical Laboratory Science program or,
Currently practicing Medical Laboratory Scientist (or equivalent) or,
a desire to learn about blood and hemostasis disorders as they present in the clinical laboratory

Theory will be taught through lectures and laboratory testing methods will be taught through virtual interaction
Learning Outcomes
Top-level outcome is the understanding of normal physiology for blood's formed elements and hemostasis proteins, recognition of disorders associated with abnormal physiologies, application of laboratory methods to describe physiological states, and interpretation of laboratory findings associated with normal and abnormal physiologies
