Kiron University: Tuition-free Higher Education for Refugees

Kiron University (2014) offers a vista of opportunity for refugees to pursue a tuition-free, four-year International Degree Program in Architecture, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, and Intercultural Studies. The first year at Kiron University consists of taking online academic courses (xMOOCs) from edX, MITx, Coursera (StanfordX), and other xMOOC platform providers to complete their college Freshman year equivalent of 30 U.S. credits/60 ECTS (European Credits Tranfer System). (see website for additional details about their program).
