Commentary and presentation by Earl J. Arnold's grandson, Jeffrey Arnold Diver, identifies the businesses, discusses advertising techniques, elaborates on social conditions of the time, visits sites of former businesses and thus brings to life the Victorian era in America. Excellent primary source material for teaching womens studies, negative stereotyping, Africana studies, advertising and printing techniques.
