Earth and Moon Viewer

This site, created by John Walker of Formilab -- Switzerland, allows users to view the earth and moon, and daylight and night regions, from a wide range of viewpoints. These include from the sun, the moon, the earth, at any point above the earth. To use the Earth and Moon Viewer, you need a graphical Web browser with forms support and the ability to display GIF and JPEG images. In order to pan around the map or globe by clicking within the image, your browser must support "Client-Side Image Maps" Cloud and weather information is also provided from satellite images. Additional external links to interactive resources on the web are also provided. This is a nice resource for fun interactive astronomy activities.
