These notes discuss the integrated properties, classification, stellar and gaseous content of galxies; galaxies within, gasesous content, and the evolution of clusters of galaxies; QSOs, Seyfert nuclei, radio galaxies, and the central engine of active nuclei; the Gunn-Peterson effect and QSO absorption systems; observations and theories of galaxy formation and evolution; cosmological models, dark matter, and gravitational lensing.
