This book offers an interdisciplinary approach to teaching about the events surrounding the Spanish flu in 1918. By presenting three case studies of the flu from different perspectives, students will be able to use scientific, historical and medical evidence as well as a developed sense of curiosity to investigate how this pandemic emerged. This resource is organized into different sections which offer teaching approaches, activities and resources to facilitate the understanding of a pandemic������its nature, transmission and prevention methods for middle school to high school students.
