In this lesson, students will become familiar with the use of common adjectives for the purpose of describing someone or something. Students will use adjectives to describe their teacher and then again with individual objects. Students will also enhance simple sentences by adding adjectives to describe the nouns in the sentence. Students will also illustrate a self-portrait and use at least 6 adjectives that describe themselves. The students show understanding by reading a passage and identifying both the adjectives and the nouns they describe. Students will have the opportunity to work individually and with partners throughout this lesson.
