The website for the American Association of Medical Assistants is dedicated to the AAMA's mission "to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and professionalism required by employers and patients." As such, the site is an excellent resource for prospective medical assistants, those faculty teaching medical assisting courses, and current medical assistants wishing to stay abreast of the state-of-the-profession. Among the most useful resources are those dedicated to helping students prepare for the certification exam. Interested persons may also read portions of the AAMA's regularly published CMA Today.
