MATE Module 16: Putting It Into The Water

This module from the Marine Advanced Technology Education Center introduces "the concepts necessary to develop successful testing and operational procedures for introducing the ROV into the water environment." Students will learn to develop a test procedure for testing the ROV prior to first introduction to the water, develop a general pre-flight check list for ROV operations and incorporate safety considerations in their ROV operations. This page includes a link to a Prezi presentation and several PowerPoint and Microsoft Word files with the documents for in-class instruction.
