This textbook is very high quality. I started using it as my primary textbook in Winter 2017, shortly after it was published, and it has been a phenomenal resource for my students. The amount of content can cover two full semesters of introductory astronomy, and we also use it for a single-semester survey course. The text content is interesting and not dry, the figures were developed for the textbook instead of being reused from older sources. With a PhD in astrophysics, I can confirm the content is sound and robust for the undergraduate level.
