Create Your Own OER

Open Educational Resources (OER) are courses or learning objects which are licenced openly and shared for anyone to use and reuse.

  • You might already be familiar with finding and selecting appropriate open educational resources to use for your teaching and learning.
  • You may need reassurance that the resources you create for your students (if you are an educator) or for fellow students (if you are engaging in collaborative peer learning) are ready for sharing openly.

This site contains articles that provide some expert advice on creating your own open educational resources and the things you might consider when taking the big step of creating new and re-versioning existing materials and the existing and emerging practices that surround creating OER.
