Many university STEM major programs have reduced the credit hours for a course in Matrix Algebra or have simply dropped the course from their curriculum. The content of Matrix Algebra in many cases is taught just in time where needed. This approach can leave a student with many conceptual holes in the required knowledge of matrix algebra. This course is designed so that a student gains an introductory knowledge of matrix algebra. The topics covered in the course include the following.

Chapter 3: Binary Matrix Operations

Chapter 4: Unary Matrix Operations

Chapter 5: System of Equations

Chapter 6: Gaussian Elimination Method

Chapter 7: LU Decomposition

Chapter 8: Gauss-Seidel Method

Chapter 9: Adequacy of Solutions

Chapter 10: Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors
