Cornell University Library Making of America Collection

As of March, 2018, Cornell University Library's Making of America collection has been moved to Hathi Trust. In preparation for the move, OCR quality of the collection was improved. In addition, Hathi Trust provides full-text search and computational analysis for text collections, improving scholarly access to the Making of America materials. The Cornell University Library Making of America Collection is a digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology.
