Adelphi University is committed to meeting our nation’s critical need for trained professionals who can prepare for and respond to any emergency—one student at a time. Shortly after the 9/11 terror attack, the university became one of the first higher education institutions to offer emergency management coursework: an introductory course in disaster preparedness for all incoming freshman.
