OECD iLibrary | How's Life? : Measuring Well-being

“How’s Life?” is a statistical report, part of the Better Life Initiative launched in 2009. Released every two years, it describes some of the essential aspects of life that shape people’s well-being in the 36 OECD and 5 partner countries. It is based on a multi-dimensional framework covering 11 topics of current well-being (income and wealth, jobs and earnings, housing, health, education, work-life balance, environment, social connections, civic engagement, safety and subjective well-being) and four different resources for future well-being (natural, human, economic and social capital).
