If you’re finding this site through the search engine you most likely already know what Vic Firth is but for those who don’t they Worlds largest manufacturer of drumsticks. This particular link takes you to the homepage of Vic Firth’s student center focusing on drum set lessons. This is a mostly an instructional video based program with some music sheets available in certain lessons. The lessons are hosted by such great drummers as Steve Houghton, Hdugu Chancler, Tommy Igoes and the always entertaining Dom Famularo's broadcasting from his soundproof woodshed. All of the videos are listed in mostly chronological order and techniques are organized by level of difficulty. The site itself can be easily navigated by the novice web surfer but some percussive knowledge is a plus. The site is always being updated with new lessons so check back frequently.
