Confidence Intervals

Logo for Confidence Intervals
This applet generates confidence intervals for means.  Users can set the confidence level to .8, .9, .95, or .99 and can sample one or 50 times at once.  The applet shows the normal distribution with the mean shown as a green line.  Confidence intervals shown in black contain the true mean, while those that do not are shown in red.  The applet keeps track of the number of intervals generated, the number that contain the mean, and the percent that contain the mean.
