Teaching with Technology: A Case Study of Online Faculty Development at the University of Central Florida
The goal of this case study was to identify and describe the model for faculty professional development as part of the Online@UCF Initiative. The case study introduces the university, provides definitions of major concepts in the study, specifies the goals and methodology, identifies the key actors in the institutional support for e-learning, describes the intiative, highlights key elements that mark a successful faculty development initiative and looks at future trends.
