This site provides an interactive, 3-D look into the human brain. Users are able to explore the major parts of the brain by area or function. After a selection is made, a description of the location, functionality, and responsibility of that particular area is displayed. A control box with zoom and directional buttons further the experience and add to a user friendly point and click interface. A Shockwave plug-in is required, but most popular web browsers will detect and install it automatically. This is an excellent and easy to use resource for anyone interested in learning about how the brain works, from the casual surfer to the inquiring student.
