My Happy Planet is a website that integrates an online "friend" network with language-learning tools. Members can find like-minded people with whom to communicate through written messages, talking, or instant messages. The site allows users to correct grammar and vocabulary when people send messages and has integrated a phrase translator. It also has lessons created by users and use-generated videos that give a glimpse of cultures and languages from around the world.
