Scitable

Scitable is a collection of overviews of various scientific topics, currently just genetics topics, and a community site for scientists and science educators, hosted and produced by the "Nature Publishing Group" . The content contains over 200 genetics review articles organized into 9 different topics, ranging from "Chromosomes and Cytogenetics" to "Population and Quantitative Genetics". A second organizational scheme is the "Learning Paths," which is a linear sequence of some of the articles that go across the topics - such as one on "The X Chromosome". There are only four of these currently available. The site also has some community features, sort of a MySpace or Facebook for scientists. Users have profiles, can make "friends" with other users, and discuss topics in the discussion groups.
