There are those students who, though able to understand their instructors’ Japanese, read their Japanese textbooks, and speak with classmates in Japanese, have few opportunities to apply what they’ve learned outside the classroom. Still others, who enjoy frequent chances to use Japanese away from a structured class setting, find that what they hear seems to conflict with what they’ve learned in their coursework.

This site was created to provide precisely those students with an array of realistic conversational situations and separated by level of Japanese mastery. It is our fervent hope that these lessons provide valuable assistance in your pursuit of Japanese fluency.
