DNA: properties and applications in molecular biology
These slides provides an overview of some of the properties of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) and its applications in molecular biology. They give an overview of the topology of DNA and how it can be exploited in PCR, restriction mapping and other molecular techniques.
The resource is used as a 50min lecture to first year undergradutes in the biosciences.
