Williams STAIR Project

Williams STAIR Project

This is a STAIR Project for my 811 class.  This is a module on Cyber Bullying.  This is a powerpoint saved in Kiosk mode.  This module explain what cyber bullying is. Why does cyber bullying occur. How does it happen.  How to prevent it.  What to do if it happens to you.  This is a great module to show to your students because it is happening in a lot of school districts and a lot of kids are dealing with it.  There is a video you can watch and a few quiz questions.  Once you are done going through this module you will be educated on Cyber Bullying.

Andrell, I think the topic choice is very important in this day and age. Students truly need to learn how to be digital citizens and cyber bullying is part of this. What I would consider, in regards to UDL principles, is allowing studnets to review previously referenced material. If you were testing their retention, then clearly the current format works great. It just is a matter of pedagogical decisions vs. UDL principles. Overall, great work.

This was a great presentation to share with students about a very poignant topic, Cyber Bullying. I would recommended that this be shown in classrooms and have a discussion afterwards. The questions were a little long, but you can probably discuss further when showing in a classroom.

Technical Remarks:

The technology that was used worked well.
