This lesson supports both independent learning and cooperative teamwork skills. With talking it over with their partner a certain iterative process may take place where they need to work together to get the same answer.
In doing this they are taking part in peer assessment and guidance which is a very powerful tool in the classroom to develop.

The students in this activity are on a inductive process of inquiry with the use of technology.

Maybe at the end the students could create a Voicethread or Prezi to discuss their activity with peers.
